Day of travel

On the day of travel please ensure you arrive in good time (Check in opens 2 hours prior to departure time). NO tickets are issued but you will have been allocated a seat on the plane. Once you arrive at the airport check yourself in. Once you have gone through the departure gates you are then free to shop, wander or enjoy a drink in the airport but please ensure you keep an eye on the departure board for your gate number and boarding time.

Alacante Arrival

Once we land in Alicante Airport a transfer coach will be waiting, please make your way down to coach departures where there will be a coach transfer representative who will direct you to the coach.

On arrival at the Calypso hotel (approx 45 min coach journey) you will be checked in and a room key will be allocated to you along with your complimentary drink voucher. Please note hotel check-in time isn’t until 4pm BUT every effort is made to get your room ready asap (previously rooms have been ready by 2pm).

NO Tickets are issued – when you arrive at the airport, simply go to the Check-in Desk and present your passport (you will be issued with a boarding card with your seat number).

Information:

Hotel: Calypso Hotel

This hotel is located just 300 meters away from the Levante beach where you can find restaurants, bars, Cable water ski, Sand sculptures, sun loungers on the beach. The hotel is a 3 star (superior) consisting of a front terrace with bar, Back Terrace with swimming pool, Pool Table, Sun beds, Parasols, Live entertainment/Music each night. Please note hotel check in time is 4pm – but every effort will be made by the hotel to have you checked in for your arrival. At the Hotel Restaurant: Breakfast 8am – 10am Lunch 12:30pm – 2:30pm Dinner 7:00pm – 9:00pm Class Times – In the Hotel Bar area are 10am -11am. General Dancing in the evenings is 8:30pm – 12am – Evening entertainment is arranged by Calypso hotel where they bring in local Ballroom & Latin artists (again this is optional, you are welcome to try out other lcoal entertainment venue which are minutes from the hotel)..

Guests are free to opt in/out of classes or activities. You are free to enjoy your holiday as you please. Previously guests have wondered down to Playa De Levante beach passing various shops, bars & restaurants making their way to the old town to enjoy the spectacular views from the view point (located very near the church yard square) and then strolling past the port to Playa De Poniente beach where nearby you can experience a bit of retail therapy or simply try out the activities in Parc D’elx.
