Strictly Charity Dance – Sign up

HOW IT WORKS

This competition is open to all ‘Strictly Ballroom & Latin’ students. To become one of our students you must attend at least one of our weekly classes or have a weekly private lesson on a regular basis. The aim is to learn something new, have fun while doing it, meet new people, make friends and to raise as much money as possible for the chosen charity.

The competition will consist of 2 Dances – Each lasting 90 Seconds

Part of your sign up package include 10 group lessons (at the Strictly Ballroom & Latin based in Beeston) spread over 10 weeks, During this time you will be taught a standard routine (up to 60 seconds) your whole routine will be 90 seconds in total (30 seconds for you to add your choreography/moves). We are here to help you with anything at ANY stage.

 

If you would like help with the additional 30 seconds of dance routine, then you can book a private lesson with us (please ask for available slots).

We will help you with posture, timing, advice on music to dance to, technique, lifts and tricks.

We also have an online shop where you can get all correct dance attire for your dances.

As part of your sign up you will commit to raising £75 per person (this can be raised through ticket sales, sponsorship or however you wish).

We wont charge you a registration fee – just sign up with and we’ll contact you.

Once signed up, if you decide to pull out from the competition, it is your responsibility to resell any purchased tickets.
